Ok I am the first to admit that I am not good at blogging. I do have a new wool I created:
I call it Antique Tin

I think it is awesome for a background and critters. Go to my website for all of my wonderful wools and kits.
http://www.lacejaneprims.com/.

The holidays are upon us and I have been busy making some Christmas like things.

Be sure to go to http://www.pfattmarketplace.com/ on the 10th to view mine and my other Pfatt sisters newest creations.

Also, I have added some bracelets I created in my Etsy shop.  http://www.etsy.com/shop/LaceyJane

This one is a Christmas charm bracelet made with lampwork trees and candy. It comes with it's own handmade pouch which can be used for other things, like maybe a coin purse. The bracelet is completely adjustable for any size wrist and is made of silver and silver plate. Each bracelet is signed and numbered.

Today is cold, cloudy and windy! Great for staying inside and working in my studio.

Once again I will try to update my blog more often, so until next time......Be safe and hope you have wonderful holidays!

Boy Is It Hot!!!!!

OK - I am so tired of being hot! Ready for October, NOW
Anyway - just published my newsletter and decided to post if here as well.
Here goes:

Well, it has been since March that I sent out a newsletter to all my wonderful customers. I have to confess, this summer heat is  ghastly, 113 degrees in the shade! Dyeing wool has been difficult but I have managed to add a couple of new wools.
I invite you to go look at my new website, designed by my awesome webmaster, Sally Van Nuys of High Time Design. You can pick up her link on my website, I encourage anyone with a small business that wants a presence on the web to go check her out. Sally is an artist with a keen eye for all of us little people.
I have been very busy with Create and Decorate this summer and all of my contributions are on my website.

August

I know it has been awhile, but have been busy rug hooking. I have a hard time dividing my time between rug hooking or doing computer work.
Anyway
The newest issue for Create and Decorate, August 2011, will be on newstands next week. If you see it, pick it up. It is totally awesome!!!!
And my latest project - Flag Bunting Rug - is in there! It measures about 18" wide by 35" long and would make a wonderful rug for your home or for a friend. My webmaster will be loading the wools and kit on my website this week.
To see the rug, go to www.createanddecorate.com. It is right there on the 1st page. Kewl huh?
Hope everyone has a great summer.
Stay well

Easter is upon us!!!! EEK!!!!!

My niecelet Nikki made this wonderful doll from lace, material, cardboard, wood, yarn, tinsel and masking tape. Oh! and my Fabrico markers.
Isn't she awesome???? My niecelet is 14 years and a budding artist. She was browsing thru one of my many magazines and suddenly popped up, started drawing in her journal and then was buzzing all over my studio looking for stuff she could use. Very creative and also a first time doll.
What do you think?
Sunny here today, collecting dyestuffs from nature. Will start dyeing my Garden Wools again soon. Been harvesting all winter and now that spring is here, lotsa stuff to collect. Can't wait to start!
Hope everyone is having a lovely day, enjoy and stay safe.

March Already

And I am so behind!!!
Today I am dyeing wool for about 8 orders. And I will be assembling those orders. What fun!!!
I have also taken a part time job at the local bait & tackle shop. That is why I have not been here. Things are starting to really get busy, it is fishing season!
It is a beautiful day here today, which is so inspiring, I have a couple of projects waiting in the wings, if I can ever find the time.
Have a beautiful day!
