We survived Gustav!!!

and everything is fine here. Roads are still muddy - but they are drying out every day!!!! Gonna mail my orders on Monday - I am so far behind right now. Funny how the weather can just suddenly change your life!
Also, my newest project from Create and Decorate will be out shortly - I will post to this site when it is available to the public.
I just finished designing two Christmas stocking rug hooking patterns that will be available to my regular customers first and then loaded to the website a month later.
IF YOU WANT MORE INFO - PLEASE GO TO MY WEBSITE AND ADD YOURSELF TO THE MAILING LIST!
You will not regret it, because I don't send emails very day or week. I prefer once a month or so update or just when I have news I need to pass on.
Have a great Sunday and week!

Current Projects

I just finished this wonderful witch stocking! It was a special order for a favorite customer, she was extremely pleased and ordered another witch! If you would like your very own witch stocking here are the details.
The stocking is about 22" tall, completely handpainted. There is a sculpted witch head sewn to the stocking, including her hat. Inside the stocking could be a crow, tiny witch, candy canes, or any number of Halloweeny items. Each stocking is different, no two are alike. The cost is approximately $40.00 plus shipping. Please email me for more details and to order!

I have begun a series of "witch on a stick", so cute and very Halloween! She is about 18" tall, her head is sculpted, painted and stained. Hair and hat makes her look just like a witch and an occasional wart also helps. I added trinkets, like a feather, skull beads and some wonderful yarn to complete the look. I have more pictures available - just email me. Cost is $32.00 plus shipping. There are no two alike - I am working on another one and will post her pic when finished.

So you see I am busy - please let me know what you think about my witchy items!

It is almost over!!!

So they adjorned and will continue later, but it looks really good for our side, thank God I am so meticulous about my bookkeeping.
We are leaving now for a fancy restaurant - I am so happy for him, and that I am getting a margarita!

And I dropped the ball.....

Edgar Allen Poe has an Easter ......
Macabre I know - just took a little tin and started playing around. Inside the tin is an egg that has been painted and glittered. Added a little bow and fringy yarn. On the opposite side is a pic of EAP, a 3-D crow and then surrounded by vintage tinsel. On the front of the tin I did some hand painting then added a crow and 'the raven'. Even painted on little glittered moon.
And finally here is the back of the tin. Painted and added a pic of EAP's gravestone and then stamped 'nevermore' and a skull and crossbones.
I love how it turned out!
Want it? Email me, the cost is only $15.00 plus postage.

OK - I dropped the ball on my blog....reason? - Family issues - I think things are stabilizing and now am able to keep up my blogging. Yippee!!!!

here are latest photos of some rug hooking I have been doing...They are both available. Please email me for pricing and details.

I am currently working on my project for Create and Decorate - already working on October, which is my favorite time of year.

If you have not seen the April 2008 issue of C&D - my project is a Texas Prairie Hearth Rug. Will post a pic tomorrow!

Gotta run for now -
